Technically yes but e-commerce stores are much harder to promote.

OP's service definitely works.

He got me to #8 on the front page before my server crashed at 250 views per minute.

The total traffic was around 3,000 from the 90 or mins or so it went viral. Sadly the server took 12 hours to get back online.

I learned a lot from the experience and have since bought more RAM for the service.

This service has proven to be pretty popular and also time consuming! I am going to be raising my prices sometime next week. Current customers will not be affected and will continue to get my current price for the near future. For customers who order between now and when the price rises, you will still get the old (lower) price for the near future as well. New customers, after the new price is announced, will be using the new price point going forward.

It depends on what the domain is and what your sites covers. If you'd like to PM it to me, I'd let you know for sure. Traffic depends on so many things: day, time, subreddit, activity of users, engagment, popularity of the article, other content on the site, lots of things. I don't make guarantees as to how much traffic you'd get, but getting to 25 on the Home or Popular page should get you several thousand users at the very least. I've seen 10,000 before, I've seen 700,000 before.

Paginated articles are pretty roundly hated on Reddit. Sometimes a 2 page article from a non-major news source could work, but that's about it. Domains accepted usually deal with general knowledge, technology, politics, news, feel good stories, etc.
