The website actually hit #22 overall on Reddit's home page. It hit #1 in the subreddit you're talking about. Either way, a little more than 2000 upvotes in the span of a couple of hours was great!

Bounce rate is going to be quite high for any page with reddit traffic. This was a content page though with CPA links and CPC ads.

The most I've seen from one link is a tad over 700,000 visitors in the span of less than a day. That's what the top picture in the OP is from. E-commerce stores would be allowed provided I can create a piece of content for it that would fit well with reddit traffic.
