How is this possible? Adsense and nulled scripts sites?

I'm a little confused about this. I thought it wasn't allowed to use Adsense in websites where you can download nulled scripts and themes. Browsing around I found several of these sites using adsense. Any ideas?

They could be premium publishers, as such they negotiate their own terms with Adsense or they are just trying their luck.

Sites are reviewed everytime income increases, so they may have so far just got away with it otheriwse such sites arent allowed.
