Things to keep in mind while searching for deleted domain names?

I'm planning to buy some deleted domain names but I'm not sure what to look while selecting the domain names.

Right now I'm using expireddomains.net for the search purpose.

There are plenty of options but I'm not a pro.

Expireddomains.net get pick apart in a matter of seconds. There's a lot to look for and even thought the learning curve here isn't too long, it's pretty steep. Anchors, backlinks, historic data, archive, domain tools screenshots, hosting history and so on. Not to mention, you need to know what you are looking for. 30-50% of domains you will register without knowing what you are doing, will be penalized domains.

And also, rule of thumb:

If it looks too good, it's penalized.

If you have the budget then you could buy direct from a pbn domain broker. Plenty of them out there. Otherwise, you should probably find a course on the process because it's a bit of a minefield and getting it wrong puts your website at risk. This isn't something you'll want to jump into off the back of a few forum comments tbh

Personally I like to pay people for good information, so if you have the budget go for something like Ranking Rabbit ($67 per month I think). There might be free courses on Youtube, but as I say, I'm not a fan of free content as often people hold back important information that mean the difference between success and failure
