Hey guys, this is a pretty long post but hope you have the time to read it till the end, and not skip paragraphs.
FIRST, I need to tell to those who don't know yet that an AUTHORITY website is not necessary a big website. You can get high authority in the eyes of Google even if you have a small 10 or 15 pages website, without a blog associated.
In February I purchased a domain and started a multilanguage website with tutorials on a slim niche to help boost my company sales...I wanted to attract more customers with it. I didn't do any Blackhat SEO, I barely did some link building, link exchange, directory and ads directory submission. My sole purpose was to get customers...but I was also wanted to rank on a medium competition keyword...as my company is struggling to survive in a top competition keyword.
After I published around 9 tutorials and around 5 pages (privacy policy included here) I didn't add any more content, I started the Social Media Marketing and sh#t.
Then in mid March (over a month after I registered my domain) I see my PR rise to 3 and my website ranking #2 on the medium competition keyword. I was like...WTF did I do? No, seriously, what did I do, because I wanted to replicate on other websites also...
Then I read Google Detonator 2, a book found also thanks to this forum...so search for it around here because I cannot find it anymore...and this is the best book I have read in 2012...and believe me, I have read over 100. After reading it I found that I applied without knowing pretty much the method stated in this book. Again I was WOW!
So, in principle the book states that Social Media is very powerful these days and teaches you how to implement a good method for link building using Social Media profiles. I said to myself that this was the factor that brought me such a success. So I replicate it with minor improvements on other websites...but unfortunately those websites are not doing so well as my original website...Google Detonator method works, but it's not what I was looking...
There must be something else!!! But what??? I have started too analyse the backlinks of my original and replicated websites but I couldn't found the answer... Actually I was even more puzzled because I found out that none if the pages with my link had a PR over 2...yet I have PR3.
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? The answer stayed well hidden until now because we never asked: where the original PR comes from? We all know it is transferred from one page to other...but where do PR 10 pages take the PR to transfer to other websites?
HA HA...the answer must be this: PR is GENERATED by a page, not transferred. It must be generated based on several factors, one of the important ones being the backlinks...
Now the question is: what are the other factors?
The original question was still standing without an answer: How I managed to get #2 in Google and with a PR3? What was generating such a page authority on my website and my replicates didn't had it?
A few days ago I got a client wanting to rank better on several keywords. His website is 4 months old, PR1 and never built any link, any social media profile...NADA!!!
I have analysed the website, found out some good Google positions for low competition keywords...but NO backlink...nothing.
So, I had a replica of my method...so I had to find out what this website and my original website have and the other websites I was trying to replicate didn't had...
Today it HIT ME HARD!!! It's the f**king translation. Both websites are multilanguage...real multilanguage, not using Google translate plugins... So Google must have see and recognize the translated content...and this must give authority to both sites.
Then I started to look for other company websites that have multilanguage support and guess what: all of them have good rankings or PR even if they have no backlinks.
OH MAN!!! This is big s**t, I am going to implement it on other websites aswel and come back here with results. The funny thing is that not even a single money site around the world is multilanguage!!!
What an authority website? Build a multilanguage one, we all know English...use your native language as second language. If you're native language is English...sorry for you...hire someone to translate your content...or try to do it by yourself...
Did I mention that using automatic Google translations plugins won't work? A Multilanguage website has different links/pages for content in other languages, the content is written by the webmaster, not generated by Google...LOL this is obvious, but I mentioned it for those who thought at this...
