Why NOT to use a PPD sites to monetize

The first thing that I'm gonna say is sorry for my english.

Let me tell you why you should NOT use PPD(files locked with surveys).

First the obvious things:

1. They are middleman
All of them get the offers from CPA networks that allow incentive traffic. They get some % from the price of the offer. Let's say the offer from the network is $1.20. The owner of the PPD site will get ~$0.20 and you'll get $1.00. That's how they're making their money. But I guess that's nothing new for you. Lot of people says that you can save time and headache with PPD because you don't have to apply for CPA networks, talking on the phone, etc. This is MISTAKE! One phone call can make you +$0.20 for every single conversion! After you make 1000 conversion, you'll be thankful to yourself that you've made that phone call which made you +$200.

2. Their offers sucks
Why? Because almost all of them are PIN submits nowadays. You can optimize them and remove the paid ones but even if you do this the file rarely will unlock on simple first page submit(as it says when you check the description/conversion point of the offer). Sometimes this is advertisers trick, sometimes the owner of the PPD site configuring it to work like this(the user need to complete 2-3 offers to unlock the file). This way they make even more money with YOUR traffic!

Now let's talk about things that are not so obvious to most of you.

3. They shave
How you know? you'll ask. Well, if the thing with the multiple completion isn't enough for you, keep reading.
I've uploaded peace of software that can track the installations. So if someone opens the file, I know what's the IP of the user, their OS and etc. I want to say that I'm not promoting any malicious software. It's simple tool used just to compare the installs with paid downloads. Guess what, I got 11 installs and only 7 of them was paid to me by the PPD site that I won't mention(don't ask for it). You can say that someone downloaded the file then sent the .exe to a friend. Yeah, that's possible scenario. What you believe it's all up to you.

And before you say I'm mad at some PPD site or something. Well, I'm not. I've switched to CPA and now I'm on my way to start working directly with the adertisers because let's not forget that CPA networks are middlemans too

So my advice is: Cut the middleman! Stop wasting your traffic for pennies!

Ofcourse cutting all middlemen is the best, but newbies in the biz can't handle that, plus lots of regular IMers can't do it too because they will loose precious time looking/contact advertisers directly..

Probably doing what you propose is for experienced people, who know the biz pretty well and earning atleast couple of grands, to be worth the effort to handle everything by yourself..

For PPD vs CPA, everybody agrees that CPA is better

Yeah, but it's sad to see how some people complaining about how they can't get downloads with lots of clicks and etc.
I've been there and know what the feeling is. I've started this thread to explain to these same people and hopefully open their eyes to start working harder(switching to CPA) and start getting more money for their efforts.

But it's very useful for beginners who want to get started making money online, because it is very easy to set up. No need to make your own website, etc. I made my first $500 with PPD

Yes, PPD shave, I am not angry with my PPD site (I won't mention the name) cause I just tested it and I am still not using it to earn money. During this test I was reported by multiple (20+) users that they completed multiple surveys but they didn't get what they wanted. The thing is they all got my mail, so imagine receiving tens of mails reading the same thing over and over again. That's when I stopped my little test and I decided not to waste my time on PPD
