I've seen every now and then (every day) people complaining about getting banned from CPA networks, claiming you-know-what (thousands of) reasons. Anyway, even if what I'm going to write below should be known already, I feel like it's time for a re-brief:

1. Real traffic
If you are running a US only offer (which most offers are) and the network is seeing thousands of overseas IP addresses, Proxy hits, or duplicate IP's they are going to assume something shady is going on with your account.

2. A legitimate conversion rate

This should be pretty obvious, but many affiliates are actually sending 3 conversions with only 4 clicks. The networks are not going to believe that you somehow have the greatest converting traffic in the history of internet marketing.

3. Verifiable leads

Many networks are now using lead verification systems to fight fraudulent submissions. These verification systems cross reference many streams of data to make sure that a customer's name, address, and phone number all match correctly.

4. Good traffic sources

Now this one we can get around completely by being a little crafty with how we present it, but many affiliates are sending tons of leads from the most god awful banner loaded pages (often free blogs) and they expect the networks to believe they are getting this many conversions off a page most people wouldn't even look at for more than a quarter second, let alone click any links on it.

5. A good customer quality score

Merchants aren't paying millions of dollars a month for someone to enter in their name and phone number, they are paying millions of dollars a month to obtain long term customers and revenue. If you send 1000 leads and not one of them converts, that raises a pretty big red flag that you are doing something not on the up and up with their terms of service. Now that we know that, we simply need to give them what they want.

Yes I know this is a blackhat forum, but that doesn't mean we don't have to know these stuff. Even if you are using blackhat techniques, now you know what to 'take care' also in order to look even more legit.

I would totally agree with this.
What some people fail to comprehend is that CPA is a business.
If a business is not profitable then it is not in business.
Just because some CPA network owner and AMs are members of BHW it
doesn't mean their networks will accept fraudulent leads.
What many affiliates fail to comprehend that there are systems in place that
identify fraudulent leads.
Yes, there are blackhat ways to drive traffic but that does not condole artificially inflating your leads.
when leads don't convert alarm bells ring.
And they typically ring before you get paid.
It's far better to spend your time perfecting your methods to drive legitimate submissions then to try and outsmart people who have a global view of the whole senario.

And they typically ring before you get paid.

So true. I still think that most of the people confuse CPA networks with some sort of 'advanced PTC site' (even if the concept is different) they tend to see those emails/zip offers with shiny Apple products and God knows what else, and they think this is just some 'cool & fun' way to earn. (I'm not saying that everybody is like that, but for some people, in their subconsciousness..)

I could vouch that if people would consider CPA as a real business, they would make a career with IM and have more than a decent living. You don't go to your new job at the office and start doing all stupid things like there won't be tomorrow. You want to build something that is going to last and willing to learn more and more everyday. Even if it's an 8-5 job or IM, everybody starts from bottom. Forget about the small exceptions, start climbing, and stop jumping.

Simple, I must said that you are right. Even a noob like me can understand that what's cpa companys want

This is a basic need of all networks

very well said. this is basic knowledge guys, common sense stuff. BH methods are fine as long as your leads still have some type of value to them. just put yourself in the networks shoes and the advertisers shoes for a minute, do you think they are going to pay you for terrible leads that got tricked into filling out the CPA offer? i dont think so

Question to CPA networks here : Placing offers directly on the youtube descriptionbox.. a no or a go?

I have dozens of domains and this is how I promote CPA offers but recently I noticed someone who placed CPA links directly on his facebook fanpage and it made me wonder..

^ Ask your AM every now and then. Some of them might really help you on this.

I have a lot of views when compared to clicks & conversion, can that turn out bad for me?Having in mind I have a reliable conversion rate.
I have about 10% converstion rate, from about 100 clicks, 10 convert. But I have much much more views because I also use bought traffic.

zIf you have sent legit traffics ===> leads are backing up , you should not worry :)! Speak to your AM and see what does he/she think...

You are very right but it's a natural degradation process. Blackhat started as finding ways to maximize exposure to the right people to just people and now skip people and blackhat methods just defraud the CPA networks and advertiser. As new and younger people start IM they don't think of it as something that's grown to be profitable and legitiment. It's just another system to abuse. Most people on here probably don't even remember the million dollar webpage( greatest IM ever). But that's the way the world works. So the system will change and they will fail.*cough* Panda *cough*

great this should be stickied if its not already in the CPA or aff network section. some people get so rapped up in the simplicity of "oh if someone fills this page out i get paid money thats so easy!" and forget that for any of this to work, or be available to anyone, the advertiser actually needs ppl legitimately interested in their product or service (excluding some email submits :D )

thx + repped

I have a site that gets flooded with Indian traffic. I swear it wasn't on purpose.
