I'm a moderator of a beauty social media niche subreddit, which has 2k weekly visitors and 14k members and no posts at all as it was restricted previously, I'm thinking of letting it go, how to value it? Help will be appreciated!

Hi Reddit users usually dislike obvious marketing but some brands manage to build strong communities there. I am interested in understanding what separates helpful brand participation from unwanted promotion. What strategies have you seen work well for businesses on Reddit?
