load time

The load time of my homepage is 1.5sec and the load time of the checkout page ranges from 4.5 - 6sec I am using woocommerce on wordpress. Anyone came across this and found the cause/fix?

The problem is that I have a high bounce rate, my bounce rate is 75% and I think it is because of the slow load time. My site load time started with 3.5 seconds. I then went trough some optimization steps like I read online and got it decreased down to around 2.8 seconds. Now my site is sitting...

It is pretty annoying when you try to open a website that takes ages to load. Ok I have been reading up on how important fast load time is for websites... My site was about 60k... After getting my GZIP mod on the server enabled and throwing in the correct GZIP code in the .htaccess file it took all my pages even the subdomains from 50-60k to 10-15k!!!! :sgrin...
