Is it possible to keep bulk Gmail/Ymail/Hotmail accounts from being cancelled as inactive by having a script check them using IMAP every month or so rather than having to manually login? I know most are cancelled after 6-9 months if there are no logins. Does IMAP count as a login?

I just found cool trick I like to share with you. In short If you add "." (dot) in your gmail address it is the same as without "." Example: Mail coming to ... [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] .. end up in your main gmail address...
