domain transferring

So, I intend to flip a site - but the domain transfer matter is holding me back in proceeding to market it online. My domain is on squarespace, and I was hoping I can make the buyer make an account there so that I can transfer the domain without any fees since it's within their platform. BUT...

Hi, so I am planning on entering a JV with another member and my question is if we sell a website and then transfer it from one host the new buyer's host. Will the ranking be lost? Or as long as it's done rather quickly, we should be okay.. Right? Thanks for the responses in advance. Spud
