Hi. I have noticed that there are a lot of chrome extensions that offer ask search as alternative to google or they put it on the new tab page. I wonder if this is a method for monetizing their extensions or they just like ask (which has a little probability). Thank you.

I primarily use Chrome because it loads faster than Firefox (for me) and because of the inspect element option. Does anyone know of a toolbar/plugin for Chrome that reports a site's PR (and maybe extras like alexa rank, etc.)? I've tried searching for one but I don't seem to see any clear...
