There is no other way to create Zelle account if you are non-US citizen. It requires US Bank and US number to open an account

According to an article if you are a non-US citizen there are specific ways to register an account
but you will still need a US Bank Account that you can create in some banks even if you are not US-citizen but there are specific requirements (not that easy)
So overall is really hard to open an account if you are non-us citizen

My understanding is that an account with Mercury does not make you jump through too many hoops for a non-USA person.

Zelle requires U.S. KYC information. If you want to create an account with full functionality, you need someone based in the United States to complete the KYC process.
