again I agree IQ is a great designer. Im saying the kid made a mistake sent his printer the wrong file. The printer printed it and just sent it to me. Why should I pay for 5,000 msitake filled flyers I can not use?

in all honesty Adam is pretty good about stuff i have done business with him before and he does a great job top notch and will continure to use him in the future. and after puting some vizene in my eyes after reading this novel of emails and YM it seems to me that mr carter will be the next presidient...why well it seems to me zb is a very deceitful person and a true politician "I do hope you both come to some type of agreement on this.Also, if you ever think the mods jobs are easy, look at all of this stuff, it could be a novel, so thank you to the staff for weeding through all of this stuff to keep the forum the way it is. Just wanted to say that. Anyway, hope both parties can reach a compromise or agree to disagree" suckup... . you are a potential political member and you are on BHW. how would your potential voters feel about that. all i got out of this is ZB has goods that were approved by him.you can use the fliers and if you are any type of politician use the bad flyers in your favor dont be a baby about it, and grammatical errors im sure half the people wont even notice it let alone read it, they will be captivated by your good looks lol. work something out with adam as far a web site or design work something he can do to help you instead of prints through a third party. and really its probally a good thing you dont put flyers out with that picture just saying... good luck tho. adam has a proven track record still going to use him just my 3 cents

I am actually shocked to be reading a thread of negativity towards iq (spxdesigns) I use him exclusively for all of my design work big or small and he always comes through. He actually works with me every step of the way since I am in no way a designer myself so I could be difficult to communicate at times when it comes to designing but he always goes out of his way. Although this thread is way to much for me to go through and really see what's going on I know IQ is a great guy and would do anything in the best interested for his client.

ok...i am bored, so I read the entire full length of emails on this topic, Its sounds like a simple problem, ZB you are on a timeline for your election etc and in the rush you just approved the design when some mistakes in it and you havent paid in full and IQ was late for a time sensitive design.

ZB has printed flyers in his hands (which he approved) he also has the business cards (which he has no problem with) ZB has already been given a discount by IQ out of customer service PLUS ZB hasnt paid in full for the flyers but still went behind IQs back to try and get the flyers reprinted EVEN after being offered a refund.

I would like to humbly suggest a course of action for the MODS, ZB already has received a discount AND he hasnt paid about $60-$70 (emails vary) dollars of the full balance. IN ALL he got a 100 dollar break BUT he has the business cards which he likes and Flyers with spelling mistakes. I think the accounts should stay as they are. ZB keeps his products with his 100 dollar discount and gets no refunds. IQ wont get his 70 dollars that is outstanding and they call it a day.

Sh*t Happens and you move on but you cant have your cake and eat it too.

Damn! Both of you are saying the same thing and not ready to fix this amicably.

Zb claims he received 5000 wrong flyers and iq says he delivered the flyers which was approved by zb. I request both the guys to settle this amicably as we could not read through all your chat messages.

If flyers have errors, iq465 should Refund the amount. If those flyers are the approved one by zb, post only the proof of some messages or pm screenshot, where zb approves those flyers.

How about some pictures of the flyers with the errors on them? That should corroborate the details presented in the alleged conversations that have been pasted.

The thing is even ZB approved some flyer that has spelling mistake then of course, it's the duty of Adam and the printer to atleast have a look on the content before printing.

So here, ZB should pay to Adam for designing work and Adam should refund everything related to those 5000 wrong flyers as they are of no use.

I'm not a copy editor for my clients, its their responsibility lol. The flyers were approved and thats really it. Geetfaux is investigating this and will let us know the decision.

There is nothing such a 'copy editor' in flyer. It have limited content and you should have gone through it atleast once.
It is the mistake of ZB too for not checking the content before printing.

Finally, your printer the major responsible person here. I get lot of offset printing done for my product for local market and personally done few mistake myself in content however rectified by printer itself and thus we share good business bonding.

I kind of feel sorry for zb if I'm reading this correctly. In the end he ended up with some unusable goods. It might have been his fault for not making sure the correct version was printed, but am I shocked that IQ is acting this way about it. As a graphic designer I always go the extra mile for my clients and I would never have allowed this the happen in the 1st place, but the real shock of it is that you started a thread like this and slandered the name of your own client as if he truly tried to scam you, which I see he did not. If I were IQ, I would not have started a thread like this, but of course it's all a matter of opinion. In the end I think both parties should just accept it for what it is and move on, no need for name calling. Very immature.


Note: I just got ripped off for 300$ worth of labor, so I know how it feels. In my case I did the job 100% perfect and the client skipped out on the bill without even paying a dime.

Anderson, i havent posted the harrasing shit this guy has been sending me and my printer. I feel for the guy too, but in this case its not my mistake and i'm not paying any more for it than I already have. Not to mention the snake went behind my back to print some designs he never paid for.

Forgot to add that ZB stopped being my client the moment he became unreasonable. My clients respect my work and are treated with respect, confidentiality and dignity. This guy is a scammer and not a client. There is a very big distinction. Other clients of mine that are unhappy get their resolutions quickly and with satisfaction, they don't make a repeated, vicious and lenghthy attack to rob me of my time, money, and drag my name through the mud here.

First I appreciate the mods dealing with this. I can honestly say I have never been so insulted as the way Adam is dealing with this.


From the beginning (July 19th) I tried to reason with this kid and even at one point on the 27th I think it was canceled the project all together and filed a dispute with Paypal only to have him get in touch and beg for another chance.

He is lying. He sent me a draft. Within an hour of receiving it I asked for corrections to be made and he promised to have the proof of corrections in my mailbox as well as a tracking number from the printer.....

You know what I really cant do this anymore. Try and keep in mind I was just a customer trying to buy some flyers and the kid accidentally sent the wrong file to the printer and now he expects me to be out $140.00 for his mistake.

There have been around 60+ emails between me Adam and his printer up until this point and I am tiring of it. Seems a bit much for a business card a flyer order doesnt it?

If BHW wishes to ban me because he made a mistake and then when after not being able to get any kind of an answer out of him besides it was his printers fault posted that I felt he screwed me then I sincerely understand. At this point after being robbed for $140.00 what will the injustice of being kicked off BHW really amount to?

I'll gladly forward you every email between me ADAM and his printer Jorge. Which mind you I had no idea he used an outside printer until after I placed an order with him.
