Never too long in one place.
Putting effort into a site that contains a trademarked term can be a serious mistake. All YT needs to do is make a complaint, and you will lose the domain.

I like the idea. We could use some more exposure here in SA :)

What is the amount of time it took to get these 5900 UVs? If it's a year, you definitely could use some more traffic. If it's only been a day, I'd say you're off to a great start.

I'd suggest a slight name change, and more social media effort. Try growing a Facebook page, post regularly and encourage people to share your stuff. Tumblr might also be a good option here, you could pay a couple of big tumblr names to share your links on a regular basis.

You have "Youtube" in your domain and this could lead to problems in the future if your website becomes too successful/viral. I would recommend you find a way to abbreviate "youtube" to avoid those issues.
