Hi everyone!

I have some experience with YouTube, and I know that not all channels get accepted into the YouTube Partner Program right away. From what I’ve seen, YouTube seems to review Watch Time pretty carefully before monetization is approved. That’s why I’m a bit skeptical about using external panels – especially since they often rely on the cheapest proxies available, and I suspect those IPs are already blacklisted by YouTube.

Because of that, I’m thinking about trying to generate Watch Time myself – in a more controlled and hopefully safer way.

Here’s what I’m wondering:
If I use a browser that hides my identity and allows me to manage multiple Google profiles (similar to how accounts are managed in Google Ads), and verify them with one or two phone numbers – could that be a viable way to generate Watch Time?

Are there any best practices I should follow? For example, should I avoid only watching my own videos? Is there any risk of getting flagged even when doing this manually?
And most importantly – does YouTube verify not just the amount of Watch Time, but also the quality of those hours? Like, do they check how those views were generated before enabling monetization?

Maybe some of you have already tried this, or have some insights? I’d really appreciate any tips or thoughts. Thanks!

YouTube is strict on Watch Time manipulation. Using multiple profiles might work short-term, but they track engagement patterns. Mixing real traffic and keeping it natural can help. Have you tried low-cost ads for legit Watch Time?

Yes, I’m quite experienced with Google Ads and use them regularly – mostly for promoting other channels. But when it comes to generating Watch Time specifically for YPP (YouTube Partner Program) approval, I’ve noticed that views and Watch Time gained through Google Ads campaigns don’t count towards the monetization threshold.

From what I’ve seen, YouTube seems to exclude any direct traffic from paid ads (even legit ones) when calculating eligibility stats. That’s why I’ve been looking into other methods, preferably ones that I can fully control and keep as "natural" as possible.

Still, I totally agree – mixing in real engagement and keeping the patterns realistic is key. Thanks for the thoughts!

Isn't it more worthwhile to spend your time creating content? Do the right thing? I create content for youtube and once I watched it once to make sure its ok, I generally don't watch it again, unless I really want to. If you don't have the confidence that your content can do well on its own, then whats the point in watching it? Your basically trying to fill youtube with crap content and a crap method.

Its simple go make viral content, make animations they give you the biggest flexibility to copy trends and make them funny, there is a million and one memes you can copy, and at least you'll learn skills. Buying social media panels, or watching your own videos is not a skill that you can make money from.

Would you mind sharing a few more details?

Is your channel already accepted into the YouTube Partner Program? And if so, were you doing this before it got approved?

Also, what kind of precautions are you using?
Are you working with multiple proxies?
Are you using any specific browser for this?

I'm doing this for my home country. So in every 12 min I'll turn my dongle off and on to change the proxy. because GSM are dynamic IP's.

my plan:

I will take more 31 days because I'm in the procedure now. watch hours are adding and the channel getting some organic views too.

Also, what kind of precautions are you using? I didn't got this. explain more?
Are you working with multiple proxies? answered.
Are you using any specific browser for this? yes. I'm using Gmails with custom made bot that include every single anti fingerprint technologies. You can use Dolphin anty for this.

If this work well. i'll update this. ask me after 40 days from now.

YouTube is pretty strict. Even if you use multiple profiles and proxies, they have ways to detect artificial engagement. They don’t just check the number of hours but also user behavior, IP patterns, and engagement quality (likes, comments, retention rates, etc.). The safest way is to focus on organic growth—promote your videos on social media, engage with your audience, and create binge-worthy content. It takes time, but it’s the best way to get monetized without risks

Tons of channels get approved with watchtime from smm panels, but you need to search for good panels and use their services, another thing is how you use the watchtime services, if you upload one video and send 4k hours to it, it will look fake, however when you create multiple videos and distribute the watchtime across the videos and mix it with other engagements like youtube likes, subscribers, comments etc it looks more organic.

Most people use smm services the wrong way, search good smm panels that will advice you on how to use their services the right way for optimal results.

Goodluck.

You probably need to warmup your accounts, and not just engage with the channel, Try mixing in watching other videos even from other niches to make it really seem real.

YouTube does look at both the quality and source of watch time, so mixing real user behavior, varied IPs, and engagement signals (like comments or likes) helps make it look natural and safer.
