I wanted to see for myself how long it takes for views to update, so I did. A video called Hollie Steel - Britain's Got Talent had 178,283 views at 11:38pm, at 1:42am it had 336,745 views - that's 2 hours later. A video called How do you Wake Up? had 52,636 views at 10:23pm - at 10:43pm it had 55,603 views - that's 20 minutes later, and youtubes view counters updated it. At 2am the video had 59,210 - that's just over 3 hours later. From what I saw so far, real views are accepted, counted, and updated within 20 to 30 min from what I saw so far, and definitely within 2 to 3 hours later. I don't have the patience, yet, to sit and wait to see if they update quicker than 20 minutes. A video called Eminem - 3AM OFFICIAL MUSIC had 49,495 views at 10:50pm, then at 11:26pm it had 54,125 views - just over 30 minutes later. At 2am it was at 63,127 views - 2.5 hours later. I wanted to find some videos with views under 300. I found two. A video called In The Game had 271 views - 8 hours later it had 3,785 views. A video called Free Hugs Prank had 179 views - 7 hours later it had 6,147 views. From what I saw so far, real views don't take 24 hours or days to be accepted, counted, and updated. I'm going to observe more videos with under 300 views and see how fast the views are accepted, counted, and updated.
