Youtube Videos And SEO

Hello i just created this account because i need some serious advises .im making youtube videos since 2012 im doing makeup art and followed these simple ''google'' advises from people who said '' keep making videos dont give up keep uploading bla bla'' so now 3 years later im still not getting the kind of views i was hoping for and im sure its because my videos are very hard to find for people. i have 2 videos that get around 140k views a month and the other like 60k even tho they were my first videos and they are not great lol the only reason i get these views on these videos is because they appear on the ''suggested'' video page (i guess on other viral videos?!) its hard to find helpful articles on google because everyone says different and the ''keyword research'' is complicated and hard to understand. where do i have to rank my videos on google or youtube or both and what kind of keywords do i need ?! the high searched ones or low searched ones so people find my videos ?! i feel so upset because i LOVE doing art and sharing it and i know from all these ''likes'' that people like them but nobody can find them because im doing everything wrong when it comes to keywords and ''ranking''. pleaseeee give me some advises <3

To find video ideas look around on forums, blogs, other peoples channels. See what type of videos get the most views. What type of content gets the most engagement. I recommend writing all this down in notepad or some type of notebook.

Next make some videos. You can use something like Animoto which I cover how to use here, or go the better route IMO which is to whip out the iPhone, or video recorder and just talk to the camera. Look into how to do jump cuts. It acts as a pattern interrupt and refreshes the viewers attention span...trust me on this.

To be successful on YouTube you gotta be consistent (something I'm bad with lol). YouTube loves consistency and will reward you for it.

Now onto how to rank...It comes down to high retention views, optimized video details, and backlinks. This forum has a lot of indpeth posts on how to rank. You can also find many awesome people selling services that can give you a boost. Fiverr can help you too.

Connect with other social media sites and complete your Youtube Profile.​.
