Youtube video remixes

I'm a music producer that creates and remixes popular youtube videos and songs much like The Gregory Brothers, aka Autotune the news. I'm getting a good amount of views and music downloads from my videos. My top remixes have gotten around 40-60k views.

My question is how do I monetize this? I can't get a partnership right now so that's out of the question. I can't legally sell the mp3's so is there another way I can making money from this?

I have some potential advertisers that see the value in my product and want to put their website url in the video/remix and maybe have the viewers download the mp3 from their website. If the video goes viral it will mean big traffic for wherever I post the mp3 for free download. The problem is that it's not targeted traffic, it's just simply traffic. My next remix will be a Charlie Sheen remix song that I'll be posting the next week. WINNING!

Any ideas on how to monetize this as a business? Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, one of the twist is actually using CPA content locker. For example, people have to complete CPA offers such as email submit if people wish to download your mp3. Each email submit will net you around $1.5.

Of course it's targeted traffic, you just haven't figured out what the common denominator is that is bringing in the viewers. Whatever the case, they are winding up there with a common interest in something. What genre of music do your remixes fall under? What is the subject matter involved? (Say, Charlie Sheen) Etc etc. Put the MP3's up and force an opt-in to a mailing list to get the MP3 download link, then pummel them downloads for your new remixes, alongside select ads. Maybe free iPad submits, Netflix trials, entertainment related offers would probably have some pull. I don't know exactly what you're working with, but I can assure if you think on it long enough you'll find some verticals which target your audience well enough to start monetizing the traffic somehow. FLStudio and other DAWs have affiliate programs, plenty of programs for production hardware, maybe you can sling them the goods to start their own remixes. If I were offering free downloads, I'd definitely deliver the download link via and email opt in form though. Trap that email addy to start with...
