Where on earth did the "Other" in the subscription sources come from?

"Other" usually means subscribers that came from sources YouTube doesn't specifically track, like embedded players, direct links, or third party sites. It's normal to see it, especially if your video gets shared outside of YouTube directly.

Other” = traffic the platform can’t clearly classify.
Usually comes from:
– Direct links (copy/paste, bookmarks)
– Apps/messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.)

"Other" is basically the catch-all bucket for yt's analytics when they can't precisely track the subscription source. It's usually a mix of direct deep links, lost referrer data from weird browsers or apps, or just when their attribution system borks out
