So if you probably saw my latest thread about my struggle in growing on YouTube, you might be interested in watching this thread.

I decided to switch my 2 channels to YT Shorts only content, for like until my Shorts do well.

YT shorts is still in Beta, and i think YT wants people to start creating more Shorts. So they might be promoting anyone who does interesting videos. I excel in making TikTok videos so YT shorts would be my best bet.

Plan is:
- Rank several YT shorts videos (that i create ofc, unique content)
- Gather the audience
- Make the new audience like me and get to know me
- Start switching slowly to normal YT videos ( So i can monetize, you CANT earn money from shorts yet )
- Grow from there with normal YT + some shorts from time to time

I think it is a solid plan, my biggest struggle before was creating the videos, normal YT video 8 mins+ would take a lot of effort with me. Now with Shorts, 15-60 seconds videos would be a top notch for me.

I will be updating you on my journey, 2 channels, let's do it!

Following, i want to start a youtube shorts channel shortly
 
I did some experiments this month with Yt SEO, basically playing the system to see how I can implement my CPA method
I got 247K views and 200 subs in 10 days
So, my first advice to you is DO NOT upload a video longer than 40 second

Awesome. Wishing you luck on your journey. I'd love to hear more about the type of shorts you're creating if you're open to sharing. Even tips on production value, if you're using the selfie camera on your phone or sourcing content, etc. (Again, only if you feel comfortable of course.)

I am new to shorts but i think it is the basic YT SEO applied to shorts. Remember there is no search bar traffic and lot of stuff that differs. But i guess normal SEO would do good. my first one got 58 views but its okay.

If you have TikTok and you doing well there post the same content if you can, for production basically the tiktok normal edits and all that stuff.

But i think YT hates tiktok, maybe we gonna have to differ shorts from tiktok in a way
