Hello,
I upload Youtube shorts on my Youtube account from 2008. It has no restrictions or so. The Reels got 20,000-60,000 views on my INstagram and I just slightly edited them.
On my Youtube they get 0 views.

Anyone know why that could be? I publish them by scheduling them to super active times in US.

I just put in title and leave descriptions, tags etc completely empty - could this be an issue too?
 
Because YT algorithm is dead for new creators , if you publish same video on tiktok , you will get more views.
 
YouTube down ranks shorts that look recycled.
 
first if the account is new youtube will not push you instantly second recycled content get less views try uploading different videos

Yes, but automation (faceless) is getting harder due to more competition. We have some automation clients in our panel who go through the YouTube ranking route (i.e., CPAs for YouTube search) since it's a bit easier.
 
I think YouTube sometimes needs more time to find the right audience for your Shorts, so it’s worth continuing to post and test. If your videos keep getting 0 views consistently, then it’s a good idea to review your approach. Recycled content from Instagram can sometimes be evaluated negatively by YouTube, so you may need to create and upload fresh, original Shorts instead.

need to share link of upload video on social media groups to generate views,uploading on YouTube without sharing with others limit upload from generating views on some keywords or niche upload.
Some keywords need ranking of new upload video with smm help.

This is pretty common and usually not account age related.


Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts are pushed by very different algorithms. IG gives new or recycled short-form content fast distribution, while YouTube is much stricter at the start.


A few likely reasons for 0 views on Shorts:


  • YouTube often tests Shorts with a very small batch first. If early retention (first 1–2 seconds, watch-through rate) is weak, it won’t push at all.
  • Reused content: even slightly edited IG Reels can be detected as reused, which limits Shorts distribution.
  • Shorts need strong hooks in the first second (movement, text, sound). What works on IG doesn’t always work on YT.
  • Posting time matters less on Shorts than viewer response signals.

What usually helps:


  • Upload native Shorts (no IG watermark).
  • Change the first 1–2 seconds significantly.
  • Post consistently for 1–2 weeks (YT often “wakes up” later).
  • Keep Shorts under ~20 seconds with fast pacing.

Account age doesn’t matter much for Shorts — performance signals do.

how long have you been posting? how consitent are you? After a few weeks if it's still a ghost channel, then stop posting on it; It's useless

Be patient and keep creating engaging videos. When one of them goes viral, you’ll be rewarded accordingly.
 
That’s actually pretty common. YouTube Shorts rely heavily on early viewer signals, and recycled content (even slightly edited) often doesn’t get tested much, especially on older channels. I’d try uploading natively, changing pacing/hooks, and posting consistently to help the algorithm “relearn” your content.
 
This could be due to several reasons. Have you ever been restricted? are you actively active on other channels? Are you using any automation software?
You can try being active on other channels naturally and then try posting videos again.
 
Better use ads for new channel to grow and upload more video before spend ads to attract more visitor
