Youtube shorts from Android phone does it work?

I use my Samsung phone to upload shorts to my channel. There is no option to pick thumbnail or to upload thumbnail is that correct?
I use the # for keywords in the headline but if I want to put in description I need to go to Youtube Studio.
There is a place for tags but I did not put that in yet is that not as same as # or what is the tags for? Should I put in a few tags as well?
I edit the category from Youtube Studio as well.

Is there any other thing I can do from the phone?

Yes this is correct, you can only add thumbnail from studio.

Go to library and click the PEN ( edit )

Ps: shorts in Youtube dosent handle the thumbnail even if you add it, you have no control over it.

Right thanks so I should do tags as well in the headline like you did? Same tags or different once? Where do you add thumbnail from studio? I see an pen but it does not allow me to do anything?

no you don't need to add tags to the title
( because of automation my bot set the video title from tiktok.)

To set the Thumbnail to a video you must have a phone confirmed account according to youtube.
Click Edit your video and ...

Ok I will check if I have confirmed my phone number but I think I did. So you mean if I add the tags in tags I do not need # in the titel?
