Hey everyone,

Recently I have got a little more increase in views.

So, i have got more than 7600+ views with a few videos.

the money I have earned is $1.27.

Can anyone tell me, why the earnings are so less.

I heard usually youtube pays approx $5-7 per 1000 views.

What might be the reason?

I don't think that youtube has paid $5-$7 per 1k views in a very long time, if at all. 7600 views isn't really that much.

i have had 1 video with more than 50,000 views, another one with 30,000 and one with 18,000 in the same account and the adsense total was $36 so... there is no "youtube pays X ammount for X views" ... it all depends on a lot of variables. One new channel with 1 viral video with millions of views wont pay the same as an aged channel with multiple videos with good views and Like ratios and subscribers. Hell, a top channel will get more $ out of 100,000 views than a new channel with 1,000,000 views.

To make money on youtube you have to have subscribers, a good retention %, traffic from USA mostly, a lot of likes and constant views with every upload. 7k views and $1.27 is not bad at all. I have had worse with the above mentioned channel. Keep working on it and forget about the money (that is if you are doing it with a niche or brand etc, if you just want some quick money then good luck, you are gonna need it)

7600 views and less then 2$?
Yes it is really low.
On my accounts i got 0.80$ rpm
this means 0.80$\1000 views

try targeting USA specifically if you can. Trust me, the rate will get increased significantly

Thanks everyone for your efforts and time.

I think it mostly depends on location and watch time.

for on one of my video I did get $0.06 for just 7 views that was from a European country.

hello buddies,

I have earned $26 for 180000 views in the past month which seem to be far less

these collections are average or below average according to your experience.

Do any one have suggestions for making better earnings.

its kinda irritating me watching these poor collections

Thanks.

It depends on what niche you're in, how long the viewers are watching your videos, whether your videos are 5 minutes or longer (10 minutes or longer is even better, as it's great for optimization AND more ads, plus longer ads too), whether your viewers click other videos of yours or playlists and how long they stay on the channel, the location of the viewers, how big your channel is, how much the ad rates are being bought/sold for by certain advertisers, the time of the season/year, whether it's a mobile/desktop/etc. user, whether the user clicked an ad or watched it fully, and there's a bunch more determining factors. As you can see, pretty complex. That's why you have people earning as little as 1 cent per 1K views, or as much as $10.

Ad rates are falling due to more and more ads popping up and the fact that there's more channels to advertise on. Every year it'll continue a slow and steady drop unless something changes. It's nothing drastic, but that's why you don't have guaranteed CPM's anymore and such. My personal channel is making around 30 cents per every 1,000 views. It's that low because I also have some videos demonetized and not all my videos are exactly advertiser friendly.

I think you have explained pretty well.

Thank you
