YouTube Q&A [AMA]

Hey, @wengthemeng I just spent hours reading your entire other forum and it's extremely inspiring. Perfect timing too since I just started a youtube channel not too long ago. I am mostly using creative commons videos and am just getting to a few dollars here and there. What is your thought on using CC instead of making your own videos all the time?

Hey there! Thanks for reading my other thread; glad to have inspired you. I think youre doing great since you took action; a lot of people have trouble just starting youtube.

My team uses CC videos all the time. We find it to be safer. Let me know if you have any other questions though!

Thank you very much for your answers. I already started taking action with that new knowledge.

Some more questions, if I may:

5. What do you think about compilation channels (tiktok, ig)? Any tips will be welcome.

6. What about about YouTube Shorts? Do you use them in any special way?

7. As stated before, I am developing a brand channel 100% whitehat (long term business with several monetization pillars) and planning to launch 2 new channels with some blackhat (disposable channels). I wanna create these 2 new channels from scratch (even with a new Gmail account each) and I don't wanna have them connected in anyway with my main channel. So, I was planning to use 2 of my already running Windows VPS with some proxies from the US. Those VPS run 24/7 music streams to my main channel directly from OBS via a streaming key (so no browser fingerprints there and supposedly no PC fingerprints also). My plan is to upload videos to the 2 new channels manually. Using proxies and FireFox should finish covering the fingerprints, right? Or am I overthinking all of this?

Already subscribed to your YT channel! Pure gold. Good luck with YTstartup!!

Thanks again.

5. It can be a strategy to start with compilation videos just to build a subscriber base and then switch over to voiceover videos.

6. I do not use YouTube shorts on my main channels; however, i started a brand new channel using youtube shorts just to build a usbcriber base (not worrying about monetization currently)

7. Because my experience withblachat on youtube is scarce, I cant really give you a validated answer to this. All my channels and clients channels are grown organically. The only thing we do blackhat is sometimes start the channel monetized.

Thanks so much for your support.

From what I understand one option is allow YouTube to show ads and second is to allow outside ad networks to monetise the video. If we choose a third network to monetise them which do you suggest

Hey if you are experienced kindly tell me how to make money from youtube without Youtube monetization.
I can upload shitload of content videos daily on youtube and can drop links in youtube descriptions.
Also tell what kind of videos will work with my strategy

Have you noticed any drop in views on your channel this month?

Now almost all the user know youtube video makes the money. Is it still has the place for newcomers for the ordinary idea.

Hi ! @wengthemeng
I was looking for some blackhat seo tips for YouTube and was recommended to follow your white-hat journey :P

Really like your journey and you're doing so great ! I wanted to know that from where do you usually get already monetised channels & what's the average price you pay for them? What's the payment gateway you choose for a safe transaction ?

One last question,
I'm thinking to make videos on celebrities and all those viral kind of videos. How do I choose good topics and start getting my channel those initial views and stuff ?

Do you focus on creating other social media profiles like facebook & instagram and building up those, or do you only focus on the youtube channel in the beginning?

If the latter, when in the process do you put time into the other platforms?

Do you focus on sharing the videos on Facebook watch also? Or is it not worth it?

I'm more interested in fake views boosting. Is it still effective for your channel and videos in 2021?

I only suggest using adsense.

If you wanan purchase moentized channels, i usually recommend a payment platform like payoneer or transferwise where there cant be any charge backs

I only focus on youtube in the beginning. I havent yet experienced expanding onto other platforms!

It's good for padding the numbers but aside from that, it's ineffective

Hi ! What is the marketplace where you get these YouTube channel which are already monetized / aged yt channels ? Any recommended seller and tips to buy these accounts safely ?

Thank you for your responses!

In the start, when a new video is uploaded what do you usually do to create awareness / market the video?

So you say you only do organic, but I take it you at least boost your CTR and watch time initially using microworkers.

Because I don't see how a channel can grow completely origanicly in the beginning with no impressions.

I have a new Chanel, and when I upload a video I only get like 10/20 impressions, then no more, so it really depends on who those 10/20 people are and will they click on your video or not, so its luck, unless you do something to boost the CTR

I have a YouTube channel where I upload my twitch gaming highlights. It’s about a year old now. I had very few views until the beginning of February, where I took a video that was trending on LinkedIn, and I uploaded it to my YouTube channel and shared it to my social media sites as well.

This resulted in a massive (for me) 65 hours of watch time.

Ever since this happened, I’m getting about an additional 50 views on that video every day, and about 10 views on my old videos. And about 10 subs per day.

I started using tube buddy on last Friday, which is helping. My CTR went from 5% to 9.7% in 1 week.

im thinking of going down the route of buying subs for monetisation, could you point me in the direction of how to look for a reputable supplier. I’m now uploading videos everyday, which seems to be driving more traffic.

Hi there, I get them from my own supplier! Not on BHW.

When a new video is uploaded, i make sure that the thumbnail and title are good and there's keywords in the title and description. No other external promotion or marketing methods.

Hey, believe it or not, everything I do is organic. I do not use microworkers. If you can't do youtube organically from the beginning, then youre gonna have trouble down the road. I always grow my channels organically for safety and it really isn't that hard. People just have to think about youtube differently. I'm familiar with the microworkers method though; I just haven't done it.

Hi there, i dont recommend buying subs is the first thing because if you buy subs, and continue to post your streaming videos, these uninterested subs are gonna kill your watch time. Just keep doing what youre doing; youre on the right path.

Thank you for replying, but i dont understand how you can grow organicly with a brand new channel, YT just doesnt give you impressions.

Even in your journey thread you said when your channel was new you would get 5-10 views till you bought a monitized channel?

On a new channel with a few videos, i have even had videos with 12% CTR and watchtime of 50%, but YT just doesnt give you more then 10 impressions a day.

I have learned a wholeeeeee lot since then!

you have to make sure that what you’re creating content on is also content that people are searching for. Don’t be afraid to go into “saturated” niches. It’s what I do all the time. There will always be more viewers than there are content creators.

So for the video i mentioned above with high ctr and good watchtime, search does show it ranking for good terms, which are 'tim cook' and 'aapl' which both show on vidiq as high searches with one being very low in comp

Also my recent video on gamestop had a CTR of 7.3%, which i belive is good considering it was a trending term, it ranked for few different keywords but i didnt get more than 300 total impressions, over one month

Surly somethings not right

Hi All,

I'm new to this YouTube thing. I'm an aspiring adult toy reviewer / lifestyle vlogger and I was hoping to get started by buying a monetized account. I have a 2-part question:

1. If I decide to purchase a monetized account, would I be able to link my own adsense (get paid)? If so, how do I go about doing that?
2. Would it be more beneficial to get a botted account with 1k subs and 4k hrs and do the monetization myself? How difficult would that be?

Thanks in advance!
