thank you for the AMA
Thanks ! I was talking about if you have to put stock footages in your video to be in line with fair use . Because a youtuber told me that it’s better to put stock footages to show youtube it’s your own video and not only a simple compilation .
One big and maybe dumb question. How can we do a proper seo. Any tips? Any videos that might help? And where can we promote pur videos?
I used proper keywords, unique content, and perfect seo but my channel does not make 1k subscribers. what can I do now
If my Youtube account has no Adsense can I use other google account to use adsense? I mean I have Youtube account and It doesn't use for adsens, but I want use other google account which has adsense. Can I put my adsense to any Youtube account or it must be only Yotube (google) account which has adsense?
If I post 100 real (different) comments a day on 100 different channels and videos... every day for the next 30 days... can I get banned?
If it want to experiment with buying views to qualify for monetization, is it okay to do it from the same pc as my main account?
how do you contact other YouTubes to get into community tab? how much do you usually offer them?
Happy to help, including a link to the original ama may also help people.
GL to everyone who needs help. Im also taking PMS if needed.
Well if you use stock footage that's royalty free, you shouldn't have to worry about whether or not it falls under fair use or if it gets copy right checked. Does this help answer your question?
Use stock footage when you can, when youre using copyright footage, fair use will help.
Keyword phrase in the:
Title, tags, and description.
Often people think that it's an SEO problem to their videos. I sometimes like to think that it's a thumbnail/ title problem as well so make sure those are solid.
Stay consistent, it takes time. OR just go the BH method and buy subs.
I am so confused by your question, sorry! can you clarify?
100 real and different comments a day on 100 different channels- no you shouldnt get banned!
Comments Spam: Comments where the sole purpose is to gather personal information from viewers, misleadingly drive viewers off YouTube, or perform any of the prohibited behaviors noted above.
Repetitive comments: Leaving large amounts of identical, untargeted or repetitive comments.
As long as it dosnt follow under any of those, u should be fine.
I usually offer $50 a post for a community tab. I actually just posted a thread in the WTB section asking if anyone would be willing to sell me a post on their community tab.
It should be okay to use it from the same PC as ur main account.
Can i monetize a channel without using any voice or commentary. I am planning to use copyright free music and display instructional text messages in the video. Will such videos be accepted during monetization review?
Is there a way to upload synthetized/artificial voice videos without getting demonetized ? If so my business will grow much faster
Question: what is the safest way to give ads in YouTube for monetized videos? What should be taken care? Any advise for small channels?
From your experience what make a video rank looking at this new algo
Yeha sure thing, send me the link and Id be glad to link as well!
I want to say there is a chance that it will still be approved for monetization as long as your visuals and audio arent copyrighted. But as you said, they are copyright free.
For higher quality videos though, I do recommend voice/ commentary
I stay away from synethsized/ artifical videos BECAUSE of demonetization. I know a guy who ran a successful jokes channel using synethetic voice. Went from making 50k/ month to now pennies
Look around BHW. Unfortuantely im not gonna recommend a panel because I dont use them much anymore. My guy uses them but i dont know which one he uses.
The safest way would be to make sure your material is under fair use or copyright free. In addition, make sure your actual content abides by youtube's policy.
Be very cautious when it comes to using copyrighted audio- that get spicked up real fast.
For small channels, gain inspiration from another channel, look at what videos have been working for you, and capitalize on those.
A good CTR and watch time that comes from a good title and thumbnail. 100%
Thanks man for giving us your time and answer our questions . Appreciate it
Thank you so much for this AMA! Too much valuable info, and you speak from a friendly tone. Everybody listens!
Few questions from me...
1. Can a YT channel do a community post with a link to my channel? This seems to be the most effective as it is within YT.
2. Once you got monetized, is there a chance that YT will rank/suggest your videos slightly better because, of course, YT can make money off of your video?
3. Does buying views increases your video's chance to get suggested?
4. What does social signals, shares, and web 2.0 backlinks can do to a video with the current algo?
You said you need at least around a 13-15% CTR to get viral videos?
1. lets say my video only had like 100 views but my CTR was around 50-80% and my retention was around 80%, would my video then get suggested bringing alot more views?
Last question , I find that niche where a narrator talks over or translate the motivational speech of a famous person . For exemple someone download the video of a famous german actor who makes a motivational speech , and talks over it by translating the video in english . Can this type of content be monetized ?
Sorry if I answer before the expert
According to my experience, 100 views are not enough and you will always have a very high CTR especially if they come from subscribers, I have only one video doing well, nothing viral, hitting consistently 200-300 views/day and the CTR is around 15-16%. I suppose that is the threshold to start seeing some consistent views on a daily basis. The video ranks #1 for my first choice keyword and it is about 10 minutes.
I don’t think that this is the perfect thread to ask my question, but I posted a thread and got no answers xD
I have adsense account that connected to a youtube channel and I want to connect it to blogspot blog, I linked it successfully, but I have been waiting 4 days and no ads are showing ...
Made a research and found out that I need to get a top level domain to my blog and link it to adsense to change my adsense from hosted to adsense for content.
But I also found out that there’s some kind of code that I have to add my adsense ID to it and put it on my blog....
Will this ban my adsense account??
