So this is google's tactic to get more chrome users...

I wouldn't touch chrome with a 5 meter stick. That thing is spyware on meth.

Try uninstalling your browsers with "Your Uninstaller" and re-install.

What Browser? Is it up to date? Have You Tried Switching Browsers? What OS? So many questions, you need to be more specific

I actually experienced the same. I switched back to chrome and it worked instantly. Google tactic? Quite possible!

Alternatively, you could also try enabling the html5 player on your account from here : https://www.youtube.com/html5
Although it is still in experimental stage but I think it will work better than the flash player.

I was having this problem, actually turned out to be chrome causing the problem until they updated it to the next version, no problems recently

Already tried that but it never worked. By the way it started after I started using Adblock. Keep that in mind too.

Plugins can be a problem , or you can just reinstall your browser software.

Re install your browsers. Clear all your cache/cookie and browser data. Re install Flash and clean your registry. Also consider restarting your router if that doesn't fix anything then it could be your ISP or computer.
