Youtube Monetization

The mere fact that you're getting a variety of answers leading to different conclusions from folks we are assuming is offering information based on actual experience as opposed to assumption tells you all you need to know..meaning.."IT DEPENDS"...Depends on circumstances surrounding the review itself, like, was it a Manual review and if so who did the reviewing? How thorough were they that day while reviewing? or was it one of the security triggered automated review deals? ..Stuff like that, but that's kinda basic common sense lol... I lot of times i think we kinda already know the answers to the questions we ask but we just wanna be convinced differently, we'll even keep asking until we get the answer we want..one that suits us...Even if it as far from the truth as we know it to be lol...Not saying this is the case in this instance just saying how it can be sometimes:rolleyes:

Don't even waste your time. From experience, you will not be monetised even if its only ONE video out of 100 videos is copyrighted. Work your way up with non copyrighted videos first, get to over 4k hrs and delete the copyrighted video. Don't even hide or unlist it. You know youtube sees everything on their system.
Delete the copyrighted video before applying for monetisation.
Youtube has become very strict. They don;t care if your have gazillion views on a copyrighted video, you will not be monetised.
