Hi i just want to ask about youtube monetization. My videos currently exceeds 1million minutes views and my subscribers are fast growing and its 900+ just now. Maybe tomorrow or next day could reach 1k subscriber, but the problem is the video i uploaded was an anime and it was claimed to be monetized by the owner but can still be playable video. My question is, will youtube allow my youtube channel monetization If ever i upload other videos which is not copyrighted? Will they manually review my channel? What would happen if they saw it was copyrighted? I already have adsense also. My problem is if tomorrow reaches 1k subscriber, what would happen? Will they approved it and just monetized the videos which is not copyrighted? I hope someone can share if they have experienced like this or know what will happen. Thank you.

Thread moved.

No you won't be monetized because its not an original content

One of the most common (and easiest) ways to monetize YT videos I see a lot of involves the video creator posting Amazon affiliate product links in the description of each video. They say something like "I used the following equipment to create this video"

After you reach 1000 subs, it will probably take months before the actual review happens. It is not instant as it might seem at first.
As long as you upload a few more videos that don't get copyrighted, you'll most likely pass the review.

Okay sir. I will try uploading other videos and make the anime videos private. Would that work sir? Thank you for the info.

No need to make them private, especially if they bring you a good amount of views and subs. Just make sure that you have more non copyrighted videos.

Thank you.

That channel won't be monetized? Even other content is not copyrighted?

Yes im 100% sure about that, your video is claimed by a third party, the review team will see that and won't give you monetization ,anyone who tell you the opposite is a liar, you can ask yourself on youtube forum ,there expert who will tell you the same thing as me : https://productforums.google.com/fo...ory$3Amonetization|sort:relevance|spell:false

If you want to be monetized : Delet this video , make it private won't work, you have to delet it

I don't see how can a single copyrighted video prevent the whole channel from getting approved for monetization.

They don't really care about 1 video. I have had account activated for monetization with like 10 duplicate videos.

I have a channel de-monetized because copyright videos. So, I wouldn't doubt If they have algorithms to show the revisors your most suspicious videos at the time of approval.

His video was flagged, when the team will review his channel, they will see " 1 video claimed for copyrighted content"
1 copyrighted video is more than enough to get denied for monetization

If it's the only video, or one that provided most of the views/subs yes, but if he has 20 more out of which none were flagged, probably not.

u can upload copyright videos but don't wait from youtube monetize it your only way to profit from it is to make a very beautiful intro or outro that talk about any product or service u link it thro your description

would it be possible to resubmit application if the channel don't pass the review?

if your channel get denied, you have to wait 30 days before resubmit your application

probably will not get monetized due to copyright videos
