YouTube is lowering the barrier for monetization

Definitely this are great news! now is more accessible and easy to reach with low effort.

Rumble is taking chunks out of YouTube at the moment
Twitters going to monetize video soon.
Both are right of centre - I know who I want to make a profit and it isn't those fairy's at google.

it's be good. in the first place, they monetize all video even one with 1sub and view,

Yes, they had to do something like that because the other platforms have been gaining more users each day while Youtube is losing. That's why they've had to make some regulations and that's good news.

The important thing is how long wilñ take to approve the channnel

There will not be much difference. The real money comes when you have lot of views and subscribers so finally, you have to aim higher only.

This is good news for motivation if you have a brand new channel on youtube. But youtube is a long-term game, so you have to be very persistent if you want to see some results.

Everyone here got this all wrong guys. This is not for monetizing ads, but for Super Chat, Super Thanks, channel memberships etc. applies to. You still need 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of views to monetize ads.

I think youtube is a little bit threatened by the competition offered by other social media platforms and this is exactly why they have taken these initiatives.

It depends on where you are. If you are in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, South Korea, or Taiwan, you're good to go. The rest of the world will have it in a few months.

Not available in the UK (for me at least) yet, and there doesn't seem to be any details on when it is going to be available

I suspect it's due to 3 reasons:

1: The former YouTube head officer gave up the helms and the new guy stepped in.

2: twitches new policy has given YouTube a choice to lower the bar to attract more traffic.

3: Tiktok: had lowered it's bar also for 500 for live streaming

4: all the above.

citation needed but it stands : "

YouTube expands monetisation program, allowing content creators with 500 subscribers to earn money

In addition to tweaking the subscriber count eligibility, the platform has also lowered the watch hour criteria from 4000 hours to 3000 hours."

News sites confirm the information.

This policy is only for Super Chat and Super thanks, not to monetize ads. You still need 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of views to monetize ads.
