Ig you didn't get it... Your traffic would be redirected to MrBeast instead. If your channel was @MrBeast1, and this thing was sitewide, everytime someone searched youtube.com/@MrBeast1 they would be redirect to youtube.com/@mrbeast instead.

But this doesn't seem to be sitewide. Typing in youtube.com/@MrBeast1 takes me @MrBeast1 as expected.

OP is right. It doesn't redirect when you directly click on it from search result. It must be a temporary glitch on YouTube.

Your computer got hacked? and the hack seem to change the address for youtube channel
seem similar with virus that change cryto adress when you try to send one
