Youtube Changed the game ???

If you base your income on any google service you are at their mercy.
When panda and penguin hit google search more people lost money, but that started negative seo.
Now if youtube does the same this will start negative seo on youtube as well.
Google is merciless and you have to take what is gives and use it in anyway posible.

Everyone knows the dangers on every field online but some people (me not so much) got serious troubles with this update and its not the best thing to see someone saying that he hopes this to last more.
Anyway lets keep the thread on the topic so someone can find easily updates about this issue :)

"While we can't confirm anything just yet (as there is no official YouTube update) - we believe the mass video deletion for the last couple of hours is a bug.
We recommend everyone who is affected by today's chaotic situation to make an immediate appeal to recover their video(s).

YouTube can't afford to lose more than 50% of the videos in their servers.
Please try to keep calm in this situation and wait for their official statement on this matter.
Why is this? While purchasing views are technically against youtube's TOS, it is impossible for them to determine who purchased the views. If you could get anyones video deleted for $7, there would not be too many videos left on youtube.

Many people posted that mesage it isn't a bug, and if their algorithm made a mistake they won't do much to fix it.

Was only a matter of time before the shafters become the shafted.

Hmm giving that of all dates they chose today to do this thing, and considering it would be much less of an hassle to send cease&desist letter to big YT views providers (that would be enough to kill the majority of the market - just look what happened to mass upload sites after the Megaupload-FBI feud), I'm smelling a giant PR ploy, making people talking about a "YT Apocalypse" and discouraging all the views seller customers.

As other people said, they are killing random videos in the very same fashion of Panda/Penguin update, where tons of legit sites got deranked. I think they'll reinstate at least all the legit videos (not spammy or copyrighted ones), but it's really hard to say what's coming next.

I think I understand now why talented YT providers like SpK choose to quit the game some months ago.

SpK was banned, he hacked a user.
On YouTube they have no reason to kill random channels, they can measure everything on Youtube.

I know a few people who talk to this guy regularly, and they say that their videos are just fine and nothing happened to them.

There were only certain providers who got hit by this. I even think YTNuke is fine -- I have 5 videos on there with 500,000+ views and they're still up and alive.

With that being said, please PM me guys if you know how I can get in contact with 'spk'.

You guys don't worry, again it CAN'T last in the current form.

He is right, it's most likely a f... up on Gmans part, if this stays true I can destroy ANYONE on the YT with a minimum effort.

On the side note it could be just a test phase for them, to sort out and test what is fake, what is not. Look at this like testing their filter by fire. They'll run it for a week, gather all the complains about legit video reviews and people who's not so legit will keep their mouth shut :) and voilà you got yourself a system wide filter ready to roll.

Not sure what to add more to this case. This is more worse, then the harm did to people, trying to make some bucks on the Net.

Right back to what I was saying :) Give it a week.

SpK kept running his *********** business after the ban, then he decided to sold it to YT Nuke guys.

I don't get the second statement, how do you explain the tons of complaints (most of them are probably legit complaints since I don't think spammers would lose their time requesting a manual review for some shitty video) and even the charity video banned?
