YouTube Advice?

I'll try to ask some noob questions.

#1 - Does putting a ton of 'key words' in your description help your video be found? If so what ways - Does it work via youtube searches or maybe only via Google or something?

Here's an example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyEneacBuB8

Look in the description.

#2 Do video responses matter to a video being more favorable on searches or would it only draw more content because people watching THE RESPONSE video might click to see what it was in response to.

Example would be if you were uploading an music album and responded each video to the previous song.

#3 Views important no?
Now of course views matter some bit in getting found, but I've also heard people say that it really is a combination of Rates / Views / Comments / X.

Now I don't expect anyone to know the exact formula, I'm just curious why people seem very focused on view increases instead of combination or ratings/comments/views. Do views carry a large weight over the others?

Hm.. I was always curious about that myself.
Even though YT explicitly states: "Do not keyword stuff", but many people do, and it seems often they rank high (their video gets found a lot more often) because of that. Judging by the number of views that video has, and by the looks of the description.... wouldn't you say...

I believe here it's mostly about more people coming to your video ("finding out about it") through related, and video response strings.

I think the answer is - yes. Views carry 50 % for instance, and other half is distributed among the rest of the factors.

I too would wish that there was someone here, or anywhere for that matter, that could give the rest of us mortals an exact and 100 % accurate answer, and enlighten us once and for all

stuffing keywords does help but dont overdo it and put your main keywords in the beginning also of course views and rating.
