Your safety precautions when doing SEO?!

Hi,

in order to promote my website I mainly do forum posting at the moment. I'm using a VPN (Perfect Privacy – I can only recommend them btw) and different email-adresses, but that's basically all precautions I take.

Now my question, what tools do you use, for your SEO forum/blog posting fun, in order to make sure that you stay undetected by google? Do you use different browsers, some kind of ?sandboxes?, or anything else?

I dont think Google will be so free to check whether all those forum postings are done by the same person or not.

Google simply look at whether the majority of your backlinks are worthless forum spamming and if they are found to be so then they will penalise you. (even if you used 1000 different proxies to do it)

As long as what you posted are good quality, google dont really care its all you.

I may be wrong though. But then again i didnt have that kind of problems.

Thanks for your input, much appreciated. I never post on forums that look spammy, and try to spin my message in a way that doesn't arouse suspicion and is even helpful to the forum members. Makes it harder, but just spamming would feel useless to me.

Any other opinions on my op?
 
Forum posts may help you to get some traffic, but SEO wise, they won't help you much. For diversity, fine, but for link juice, nope.

If you feel paranoid, then use Firefox for posting, don't be logged into any Google services and get a few semi dedicated proxies from somewhere (Buyproxies for example, not affiliated) and work with those. It's only a few extra bucks and if it will make you sleep better at night, then by all means.
 
you're honestly overthinking too much, stop being so "cautious" it'll effect the way you use your time towards SEO

Thank you for your feedback. Do you think that I need proxies next to the VPN I'm using as well? I guess you are right, forum posts don't move the needle much, if at all. My problem is, that I'm still struggling with outreach for guest posts and haven't found anyone capable who could help me with it. I have paid writers pretty decent rates (not $10 / article fiverr guys), but the people I worked with were incredibly slow and didn't deliver the quality needed. I haven't tried anyone's services from bhw yet, but probably should do so.
