Of course, you can always force it if it isn't there naturally, and it might work, but a tonne of commitment and discipline is needed, otherwise nature will strike back again. That's why sometimes those who gain weight quickly complain to the skinnier ones with fast metabolism, "I wish I had your metabolism". It can definitely be 'hacked' though, but much much harder than if it would be there by organism's given.

My sprained ankle & the weather.

I rolled my foot 2 months ago and it's taking forever to heal. I limp around everywhere. Exercise on a stationary bike using mostly 1 foot. The weathers cold AF and noone wants to do anything I feel like I'm chained to my computer this is why I hate winter.

Honestly, most people have a normal metabolism. Majority of obese people out there do not have issues with their thyroid causing low metabolism.

Let's not turn this into a medical thread. It's not about obesity or anything like that. Simply, some people gain weight faster than others, even within the same family, and that's a fact.

Well.. Its time for mine...
I put too much and too many dots at almost every single sentence i make...
I missed few days in the last 3 months with a goal to upload every single day on youtube (S/O to Jake Paul for the motivation)
Haircut is still growing and Im just too busy (lazy) to go get a new one...
Gained 5kg at the holidays so I really do feel you fam...

Even those who do have slow metabolisms only have about a few % difference in their BMR, not enough to explain weight gain imo.

But okay, we'll leave it.
