Your advices on scrapebox

Hi guys,

I just started work with scrapebox (well I'm kind of testing for now) and I'd like to have your views on different things...

First of all, I don't use scrapebox to post, only to harvest. I'm completely new in the world of grey / blackhat SEO and a bit lost to be honest.

So now here is the thing. The proxies that you can harvest via scapebox's recommended sources are obviously a bit lousy.... Using them, even after checking them, results - for me anyway - in massive gaps in my results (half the urls missing, etc...). Those are just to unstable and overcrowded I guess (?).

Anyway, now I'm looking into the right paid option and I would like to know a few things (I'm a super newbie so be prepared for dumb questions):

- What is the difference between a VPN and a proxy when it comes to use scapebox in an efficient way ? VPN looks like a convinient option, doesn't it ?

- Once I got my lists via scrapebox, am I suppose to hide behind a proxy or vpn tunnel to manually post my links or it doesn't make any difference as long as the job is done manually ?

Again, I know I'm a super newbie when it comes to grey hat SEO so please forgive me for those questions and their - maybe - obvious answers. I'll do everything I can to learn as quick as possible so my upcoming posts won't look that... pathetic

Hi Mr Grey,
before you go out there and get some proxies, go to you tube and type in loopline. He has the best training videos for scrapebox. he has one all about proxies http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_NMkQgK1PY is a video on how to scrape proxies. I followed this method and found some pretty decent proxy sources. This should be enough for what you are planning on doing. Then when you feel a bit more accomplished and want to move to some more black hat stuff like tier 2/3 linkbuilding then look into getting paid proxies.

Any stuff like manual posting, as well as scraping can all be done with the above (that is exactly what I use) just watch all the videos and you will be pretty clued up!

A VPN probably isn't going to be so great for scrpaing because you are limited to using 1 IP at a time. You will have to find some way to change the IP all the time. Doens't sound fun to me. Proxies are better because you have a lot of different IP's, this prevents you from getting your IP temporarily banned by the search engiens when scraping.

If you are going to do it manually, then you don't need to worry about IP's for posting.
