Hello fellow sufferer,

i tried the last year to get the best out of my AdSense profit and tried a few things without results. I am interested to hear your experience and what's your optimal way of showing Ads.

Introduction:
I own a free SaaS (Utility tool) website with an average user engagement time of 1min.
Currently i get 23k users from SEO daily.
The top 3 Geos are India, US, JP.

AdSense earnings: ~30$/day (+-4$ on each method)

So lets get started:
At first i checked similar sites and how many Ads they are showing, the most action on the website happens on top of the page (simple form to let the website do smth for you) so i showed 1 Anchor on the bottom, 1 Banner on the Homepage (below form), 1 Banner on the result page (above result) and whenever AdSense like a vignette while downloading the result.
That resulted in a lot of impressions but very low RPM and also very short engagement time per page (bad for SEO)

Then i changed it to only one page because i heard, the duration a banner is shown also matters. Now i load the result via Ajax and increased the time on the page, so now 1 banner below the form and after loading the result i show an additional banner above the result (& still the previous one below). While using this method the impressions decreased because the anchor will now just show on this one page and the below banner is staying in place. The RPM has gone up a bit but in sum it hadn't changed the daily profit.

Then i removed all banners and switched on auto Ads, which started a bit low and after 3 days it reached the same value again. It filled the website with Ads, it was horrible and didn't change anything at the daily profit. So i deactivated it and started searching for different solutions. (Tried a few days popunder from PropellerAds but it wasn't worth it)

Currently i stick with the static banner below the form after submitting the form change to the result, the banner sticks and an additional banner (small 90px height on desktop, 50px height on mobile) above the result + anchor + vignette. I tried to sort out some Ad categories with the help of AI (by showing it all the values/earning by category) and gave it a full week to optimize but it made things worse.

The result: No method has changed anything on the outcome, neither showing more impressions nor showing banner more often or sorting out low performing categories.

Two years before i started this site, i had another one with similar traffic and a related niche i made 10x more with it (before the CPC to CPM change).
So what the f*ck is happening?

In your case READ IT CLEAR GO FOR ADX because I'm sure you will earn more than this at least between 130$ - 150$

The Different Between Google AdSense & ADX and which one is Good for you

Thank you @Yupwork for your interesting hint.

I never heard of AdX to be honest but i know the theory of Ad Exchange... I searched here and on Google, and found the Google Ad Manager.
So i have the question if you mean to get a Google Ad Manager account and manage the Ads myself or to join an Ad Exchange Network and let them do the magic?

Or have i missed something?

Thank you in advance!
