Nobody knows, if you're that certain short their stock price when the IPO happens and bet your life savings and your parent's life savings on it and you'll be a very rich man/woman. If you're not a FB insider, tbh, you're a gambler. Although it's fun to make a guess and stick your neck out, me personally with regards to FB, I really couldn't call it, I can see the value in Timeline, people hate change but once they get used to something, a thing like timeline over the long term will be impossible(almost) to discard in terms of it's value. There's literally nothing else available that people on the whole are already involved in that documents a persons life like FB timeline does. The only question is whether enough people will adopt timeline and use it for a period of time that is long enough to let joe public realise the "necessity" of timeline. It's disturbingly intrusive but incredibly well thought out and meaningful, tbh the last 3 years of my life are pretty well landmarked by timeline as I got early access to timeline being a developer and already I see the benefits and memories it has brought back and that's just a few years. Imagine if from this moment on you pretty much recorded all your status updates, songs, photos, videos and general musings and looked back in 40 years at it all. Incredible, I'd be hard pushed to write FB off just yet, if they pull this off, they've got themselves a place in history on a par with the fucking Romans or even the Loch Ness Motherfucking Monster son.
