You heard it here first: Facebook will lose 70 - 110 million of its users by June 1, 2012 because of the new timeline mandatory changes.

I also predicted that in 2010 that facebook was going to lose a lot of users within the next 5 years:

I will also go on to say that Facebook will lose 220+ million users by the end of 2012.

bobbylove321, you didnt predict anything, you know why ? Because everybody knows about this! They Was already on the TOP, they got $ as much as they could, now ist time to return to normal...

me, personaly, i hate this site :) i never talk about me or somebody else, in facebook, i like to make money on facebook :)

BTW, im 10000% SURE, they have a decent decrease of users, monthly, but you and me, we not gonna know about this efect, as long as Facebook Team will be able to avoid such a conversations on PUBLIC...

Its all about MONEY...
 
I am part of that statistic. I had FB from 07 up until Christmas Eve 2011... Something about the timeline just makes me feel like it's not even facebook anymore.. I deactivated it and haven't been back since. I only have a troll account for IM activities now
 
Loss of 220+ million by the end of the year... that's a decline of about half? lol

Obviously you are predicting the total collapse of FB... it could happen.

Remember Altavista? I do... it was THE search engine before you would just 'Google it'... lol

Facebook is played out already. I'm ready for a new revolutionary social network.
 
I'm now on a "Facebook Fast" and I'm supposed to be on Facebook only during weekends (I gave someone else I trust access to my account and changed the password and not tell me).

But the past weekends, I didn't even bother logging in for my "Facebook break". It's drained a lot of my time and energy ever since I was on it these couple of years, and my IM projects, ambitions, goals have been unattended to and unachieved as a result.

What features would you like to see in a new revolutionary social network?

Maybe we can do a survey and one of us can create that... and make bank.
 
Facebook is a part of the culture now, so doubt that its going to lose user at the rate you predict. Plus I don't see any other social network out there that could fill the void....

Google+ already has alot of better features than facebook.
the ice cream sammich droid release will heavily integrate G+
AND it's been looking like their search results favors G+ pages.

Facebook should create their own search engine
 
I only check into FB once a month now, if that. The intrusive nature of their system was exposed months ago---they're practically a wing of NSA as it is. I say we cut out of this government cutout.

It is funny because many people do not know that.

The same thing is with google.

Same department running the 2 biggest sites in the world.

Look, Google, came for Long time to do bussines, they make money but THEY INVEST A LOT OF MONEY

SHow me some Facebook investments ? this Guys came just to grab all Green Papers, and they are ready to leave as soon as they will see that are not any more money for them on this market....
