Now distro companies are freezing payments if anyone makes at least 1k maybe even less from using the copyright claim method for Youtube videos. The copyright claim method was the perfect solution for channels that are demonetized. Thanks to the geniuses out there that have been abusing it, now all of us have to suffer by dealing with payments getting frozen. Thanks a lot guys.

Why are they freezing payments? With what explanation? If someone uess your music, then you should be able to get the claim through and earn the revenue. So why are they freezing it? Explanation, Solution?
 
I told you this was going to happen some months ago but you and another user called me stupid lol. Learn to shut up next time when you know nothing. Also I don't get why you're blaming everyone else since you were also abusing this method as well. You weren't the first to discover this method either.

People get excited and want to share things, but then they get shared again and suddenly you have hundreds or thousands doing the exact same method, then it gets patched.

Way of the world.
 
Any open method will be killed sooner or later by the biggies themselves. It is not necessarily due to the abuse always. Do you think people running the YT are stupids?

They're freezing payments because so many people are using copyright claim method to bypass Youtube's monetization policy. They have been ramping up efforts to stop people from this for a while now.

Even if you are a legitimate user who doesn't use copyright claim method, they don't care. If they suspect something they're going to freeze your payments with no chance of you getting your money back because of how bad it is right now.

The solutions at the moment are pretty limited. You can create another account and try again but you can't earn a lot of money and you run the risk of getting your payments frozen again. There's private distributors who are in on using the copyright claim method but not everyone can join those distributors.

There were some genuises sharing the method on youtube for a bunch of views.

The irony is absolutely ridiculous. So you abuse the very same process yet complain to others that abuse it too.
