Sounds to me like the person advised was in a bad way and depressed.
However, I guess some people would class that as stupid.

Don't argue with them too.
He is not depressed, he's just like that. He doesnt' give a f about anything in the life. He has his own rules, and when it comes to this it's just being lazy and wanting to play games. I was like that when I was 13.
