Hi I have a question about yt ranking. I've read some guides about SEO etc. but I missing something. For example for my keyword first video on yt have no backlinks, don't have much views and likes, but is still on first position. I don't know how do they do this, maybe something with views referer?

retention views,like:dislike ratios,backlinks etc..contribute to ranking just provide more retention views,likes,dislikes backlinks greater than your competitor to rank above

I know that, but how he can be on top without any backlinks, or many views?

Probably good onpage SEO. I have a video that is ranking #1 with 7,000 views on YouTube for a fairly competitive word which is beating out other videos that have hundreds of thousands of views.
