Yet Another Quiz Journey - aiming for $10/day

Hi everyone,

After seeing many members making Quiz Journeys here, I was inspired to try my hand at it too. I am also working on an Amazon affiliate website which is in its infancy (~$100/month earnings) so this is a supplement to that. I also have a day job so these efforts are supplemental. Thankfully with the pandemic I have a lot more time for these.

I have no idea what a good earning target for this site is. I enjoy making quizzes and have got a nice process going for making them quickly using WP Quiz Pro plugin. Currently I am only making Trivia quizzes, I will publish around 5 quizzes a week till I reach about 50 quizzes. After this, I will probably try to branch out into other quiz types.

What I have done so far

• Setup my website
• Published 8 quizzes
• Created an FB Page for my website
• Made a plan for the next 50 quizzes
• Applied for Media.Net (and got rejected, I applied after 5 quizzes which was not a good idea)

Future Plans - first Milestone (in 10 weeks, but hopefully quicker)

• Get 50 quizzes published
• Write 500 words for each quiz (25,000 words) on the entry page
• Create 10-15 blog articles related to each quiz (another 25,000 words) for Adsense approval
• Setup all social profiles (Twitter/Pinterest/YouTube/Instagram and more)
• Improve site UX and site loading speed for good ad experience
• Apply to Adsense, Hooligan Media and Media.net

Technology Used

• Astra Pro Theme
• WP Quiz Pro plugin. I purchased Quize but it has lots of things that need to be fixed. WP Quiz is much better in comparison

Once I have Adsense and Hooligan Media approval, I will start marketing the site with a proper strategy, right now the focus is just on content creation.

Goodluck but don’t use too many ad networks otherwise it’ll slow your site

Quick Update. I currently have 14 Quizzes on my Website. Each quiz has only about ~100 words in the intro so I will need to re-write this later. Hoping to hit 30-50 Quizzes before I start applying to Ad Networks. Working on setting up social accounts and making my site neat and clean as well. Getting a lot of great information from Journey threads here so thank you everyone
