Yelp Review Idea

We all know Yelp sucks for business owners and it's very hard to look good, and a first page ranking on a review site with mainly bad reviews is very damaging.

The Facts:
I read that great reviews only come from accounts with many active reviews and use cases.
I also read that can't log into accounts from the same IP ever pretty much, and can't log in from your account anywhere else either.

What if you do this (since so many Yelp reviews are either fake, extortion, or generated by competition)

1. Buy a cheap prepaid smartphone at a local vendor like Walmart, or your local Kroger chain store.
2. Make sure said smartphone has a data plan and never connects to WiFi.
3. Join Yelp and review normal places. Either don't give them location access while at target location, or make sure the phone never sets while on at the target business.
4. Go to any place physically before posting a review with the location services on for Yelp.
5. Accomplish review "nirvana" for target company(ies). Possibly sell Yelp reviews for $300-600 income per review, and make sure it's enough to travel to said location (or try using GPS spoofer).
5. Rinse & Repeat with multiple smartphones on different carriers to have a decent sized personally controlled review network.
6. Profit in business, as an SEO, or as a freelance Yelp Review Specialist

Someone please let me know if they try this out. Considering it and also want to hear thoughts before I do.


*DISCLAIMER - I know LEGALLY Yelp has proved they don't practice extortion, because they funnel a bunch of that extortion money into their legal team. Yet they have had so many allegations of it, I am not convinced one bit. No other review source is as bad, and 4-5 star reviews on every platform but Yelp is very telling.*

Funny how they offer reputation management and at the same time, a lot of people on their site have horrible reviews plastered on their profile page. most of those with 5stars have paid for the company to show up there that service I say that's a conflict of interest.

I agree 100% they totally make money off of bad reviews and somehow companies that pay end up with great reviews....hmmmmm......how did that happen if they aren't gaming it?

As you know getting fake reviews seem trendy today, also for yelp, many businesses are using this strategy. If you are running a business and want first-page ranking then you can try out it.
