It has been a while since I have used Yahoo answers, but I think it used to be that when a question expired or a best answer was chosen, you could no longer answer the question, right?
Now you can still answer questions that have a best answer already chosen.
This seems like easy pickings, and I missing something? Your answer will not be chosen as best obviously, but apparently if you have more points than the rest of the users that answered, you'll be the first answer listed after the best answer, unless another answer has more thumbs up.
I have answered a few questions that are seven or eight years old, it would seem that the search engines would look favorably upon the pages this old, yes?
