Guys! I got a beautiful name for my store. I need to buy .xyz or .cc domain extension. which one is the best for shopify store?

example:

blush.xyz or blush.cc

help me to choose a good one from this.

Xyz domains are frequently blacklisted by Facebook. Of course I would advise you to get com or net extension.

IMO xyz is retarded, it looks so random, poor quality, it was advertised at very cheap price by domain companies, and many noobs/newbies bought it

.cc looks professional and I always prefer less than more letters in both, domain and extension.

There is no doubt, go with .cc

why do you want something from these 2? Is it because they are both cheap?

.cc looks more professional. If you are not a math maniac/teacher or a yugioh player then the .xyz domain is really bad...

None! If you are from USA go for .com 88% of #1 results are .com and if you are from UK or Canadá... .co.uk or .ca

.net still is part of the tech bubble. Even Google make It explicit. Let say the name is gelden right? Go for geldenshop and you are good to go.

In all honesty ' .xyz or .cc domain extension ' both look cheap, spammy and are used on churn and burn, spam sites.

If you're on a budget, just wait for black friday or cyber monday. Registrars usually have really good deals around that time. You could probably find a .com for $1.

If you don't have money to spend on a .com domain, don't start a shopify store. If it's a domain that's already taken, just find another name, you can use the shopify name generator or namemesh for ideas.

You are better off with a .yomama extension than either one of them.

Part of what you want to do is inspire confidence into those that visit your site and neither one does that.

When .xyz was first released I was still selling on flippa and it was a really great year for me.. you could literally buy a short one word domain for $1 and sell it for hundreds..

How is that remotely related to his question?

Go for .cc if you MUST choose from these two, but look at other options, there are quite a few.

Maybe even change the beautiful name, add a prefix or a suffix?

Always .com, even if you have to change your brand to do it.

Change your mindset. You should be thinking of multiple brand names, not just a "best one"

Anything else is considered 2nd rate, including .ca, .eu, etc

thank you so much @Red Yonko no, that's not the reason, actually this brand name i want is already booked for all extensions. the remaining ones are .cc and ,xyz, .store etc. but the other things is those .com, ,net. org domains purchased in 2010, 2011, 2007 likewise. .com and .net was premium domains. cost about $23K for .com. and these tld still doesn't build any site for this name. and the brand name i choose got only 226 results in google. exact search results 31. that's why i need this brand name for my domain.

Thank you so much @MisterF actually I have mentioned the reason above why I had to choose these domain extensions.
