It's a very competitive field full of blackhat SEO. And what I realized is most people use incognito/ad-blocks to browse porn sites. That means, you lose on AD review and getting juicy keywords is hard since incognito hides that search data.

I gave up along the way but I have a friend with Tier 2/3 traffic mostly from South America with a bit of Spain and Portugal. He gets around 3 million visits per month and makes around $2,000/month. That's peanuts but still some good money. That can double with Tier 1 traffic. I don't know about that though.

I just decided to switch to affiliate marketing and with a traffic of 50,000+ visits per month, I get $3,000/month.

They don't stand out.

They buy traffic and backlinks to push their saturated niche sites into search engines' index.

It's better to create a site with a unique niche and self host your hand picked content with rewritten titles and descriptions.

You're right. There's so much blackhat SEO going on. I know of Nigerians and Indians that are smart in this. Guys will set up a site today, spin content from larger porn tubes. In under two months that site will be hitting 20+ million visits and peak at 150+ million visits monthly in under 6 months.

Then Google penalty will kick in and the sites will disappear from Google search. And the guys will recycle the same websites on a different domain, same theme, same content, different brand and repeat the cycle.

I used to have an adult tube too. It failed because the niche was too broad (not general porn niche, but still too broad), and I did not buy backlinks.

I now have come up with a nice unsaturated niche, however I'm unsure if running a porn tube site is even worth it.

I feel like, instead of sending traffic to a porn tube website, sending it to a revshare webcam offer is more profitable. What's your thoughts on this?

I don't have the data but I heard this one is super profitable. Tons of horny guys out there that need live action.

Though when it comes to live cams, China and Japan are by far the most profitable countries. Like freaking profitable.

I also saw that with normal ads on the website that I ran. China and Japan generated more revenue than even the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, and Australia.

It certainly is. I can say this from first hand experience.

Additionally, it has no significant upkeep cost such as porn tubes, nor does it require any website optimization whatsoever. Only $10 a year for a domain (to redirect), that is it.

Properly running a porn tube site will require one to cover hosting (can seem pricey and be discouraging if content is self hosted in contrast to the low revenue the website initially makes).

Any will work. Japan is a T1 country, they speak English. What's important is your traffic source.

US hasn't been very profitable for me although most of my signups are in the US. Canada, Netherlands and France are my favorites.

It works with all of the popular networks out there. The average spending in live sex cam sites of the Chinese and Japanese is 5X greater than the US, CA, AUS, and EU countries.

That's why advertisers pay top dollar for the traffic. Keep in mind, China's Great Firewall for porn makes traffic from those sides extremely valuable, especially for ADS targeting live sex cams.

Very strange. How they are buying tokens? They do not have US/Euro payment processors there.

Also very strange that in 4 years with Chaturbate i did not had any spender from CN or JP.

I even had one site ranked good on some cam keyword in Baidu and has 1k daily CN traffic. After half a year i blocked CN on Cloudflare - zero revenue and server load.

I don't know if it's still the point of the thread but WP-Script is (in my opinion) the best existing script to make multiple adult sites. I'm using if for more than one year now.
 
I am also very interested in Wp scripts and will test it in the next weeks.
 
I have to agree with many that wp script + clean tube player+ theme is better. Why I would rather not write because many have already written why.

what do you do with wpscript+clean tube player+theme ? mass embed? or do you host your own videos? thought mass embed doesnt work anymore? (as in they redirect to the original site and you dont get any ad revenue)
 
wp-script.com is biggest scammers ever no response 14 day money back guarantee you can forget about it I am now working on the bank credit card to get money back they require a refund before 8-1-25 so far nothing has been done now further steps are being taken and must be taken they show that they have made a refund, so they did not do that, so be careful, do not buy this, the script only worked half way, the home page did not work and there is no way to contact these people
