Xrumer Server Questions?

Hi everyone, i am going to tell my experience...
I have bought a Nice Big Server
10Tb of transference with 100MB of connection
more than 250gb of disk
8gb of ram
2.8 ghz x4 of cpus

i have it with Windows server 2008 64bits (but the xrumer doesnt work well with 64 bit, its not recommendable, i am asking the support to fix it)
But the hrefer work perfectly and i have got running the server a long time and i never have an error.
It is so recommendable!
If you have any question ask me
and if you want my information thanks me
regards

hi again i have fix the error of the xrumer, now it is running perfect... I love my server, and my datacenter..

I've been using Joesdatacenter.com for my server. It's great on a budget. You can get a dual core box for $50 a month! Plus it's on a dedicated 100mbit line (no shit I can upload to zshare at 12mb/s) and they do not give a rat's ass what you do with the network. I was using it as a seedbox and I've probably uploaded 5tb or so over 6months and they still don't care. Yea so I would recommend them :)

Well opted for a P4 dual core $55 +win $15 = 70 $ and asked them if xrumer is allowed lets see what thy say to it.

Anyone tried routerhosting.com?

10TB. Maybe good enough for me. Seems like pretty good deal. They threaten $500 fine if caught spamming. Anyone tried?

Where did you get it?"

By the way , can you guys tell me , are you guys winning the seo race? Which keywords are you targetting (search count wise)?

Search for google backlink, good backlinks, 1k gmail accounts, buy gmail accounts, millions of backlinks, and super seo service :D

Guess which one are my experimental sites?

Question - Why would it run differently on a pc? Sorry if that's incredibly dumb question, but what's the difference? The OS software? Or the local ISP connection that a pc at home would be on? Just curious. What causes it to not run at "optimum" levels?

why would you run a desktop-based app to a server environment? Xrumer wont run on a xampp, its not a script.

running xrumer on a pc is not worth it, believe me ive been there. I even bought another machine(desktop) dedicated for xrumer, its runs ok but not at its optimum level as its suppose to be. a dedicated server is the best way to go, ive learned my lesson

there are cheap ones that deliver, $120/mo

You need a windows OS. That's all. Either real or vmware.

dedicated
4gig with 2gig allocated to a windows 64bit vm (vmware, host os fedora 64bit)
core2quad box
100mbit uplink

volumedrive.com rocks :)

What's the monthly bandwidth and price? Also, have you recieved any complaints yet? Thanks.

use iweb, now they have an offer with 10000gb of bandwith its a lot for xrumer

PC's generally have a limit of how many tcp connections that they can have half open at once. There is a patch for this, but it only opens it to 50.

This is just part of the equation. Servers are also better optimized (read designed) to send and receive files. Faster hard drives, 66mhz pci slots, etc are a start.

Most servers are also built like tanks and can handle being run 24/7 without issues. Just dissassembling it side by side with a normal box will tell you everything that you need to know. Just one of my servers has 12 cooling fans in it and 3 power supplies, each of which can run the server on it's own.

I can only run about 60 threads on my AMD 64x2 based comp with 4 gigs (vista). However, with my dell enterprise 8 processor server, I can now run 225 threads and I am only using about 15-18% of the processors. Xrumer also runs very smoothly on this platform and the load is evenly distributed among all of the processors.

I wish I could run more threads like some other people, but I can only get a 20mbps down 4 up connection where I live. Currently at 225 threads I have it maxed (can't even open google with it running) :(

The sad part is I have another identical server with the same os and Xrumer installed and can't even use it due to the connection. I had two 20mbps connections (I told them that I had a roomy that needed his own internet). However I recently called out tech support for an issue (bad cable) and they saw the servers with both connections to them. They then disconnected my second line and told me to upgrade to business package (299.00 per month per line).

Needless to say, I keep my connection maxed 24/7.

I have seriously been thinking of colocating my other server, but I am concerned about charges and what happens to my server if they cancel my account due to spamming? It's also a 7u, which is quite large. Anyone have a suggestion?

I was using server.lu

I would say, this could be good but a bunch of accident really throw me off.

On 24th, there is a hard disk crash. I can't even SSH. They wouldn't check that of course. Of course if we can't even SSH it's the server's responsibility. They said that because there is no change in settings then it's my fault.

On 27h someone notify me that the problem is hard ware. I notified them at that time. I give logs showing that it's indeed hard disk failure.

On May 6th they told me that they have fixed the hard disk. That is the exact same time with the due date of billing. I was having a hard time running the server at all for the first month. I hardly use it at all because I am not familiar with vmware and because of the hard disk crashed. I plan to do my best trying for the first month. But the hardware is not fixed by May 6th

I told them that I do not want to prolong the server.

The sales say that they're willing to postpone billing for 2 weeks. I thought I got free 2 weeks. I said deal.

Then I learn vmware again. After a lot of hard work, I finally managed to put windows 2008 there.

There is absolutely no tutorial or help or guide whatsoever. I had a really hard time finding those in internet piecing pieces together.

Finally, I thought. Well, what's gone is gone. Maybe I am not as knowledgeable. But hei the server is running. They're cheap. Now let's test their bandwidth, etc.

Then my server didn't work anymore. Turns out they removed the server long before the 2 weeks are up.

I have had it. I want reliable server, not the kind that will be pulled of under my rug surprisingly.

What are the other cheap vmware hosting with at least 10TB bandwidth per month?

Anyone know if a 10Mbps connection is adequate? Also, what sort of bandwidth quota should we be looking at? 2500GB? 5000Gb?

Ok let's just say;
DONT GO WITH SERVER4YOU.NET/SERVER01.COM

Anyway..I got banned from there after using them for just 14 days since purchase. Wow..that turned out to be a costly affair hahaha...only used 1.5 TB in 14 days & the average threads running with blogs + forums were 400 links/min. I set it to 40 threads max as going above this would crash the windows/machine.

Did they refund you?

What's the problem in run a Xrumer from home? I have unlimeted bandwith and I have 8 dedicated servers.
So.... What are the problems in run xrumer from home? ISP problems???
