I am an Xrumer newbie and obviously just registering profiles without posting seems low risk and more likely not to be removed by any forum admins but does it really help with SEO link building?

Obvioulsly links can be added to the profile once it has been added to the forum but is that linking as powerful in terms of link building and increasing page rank (not click through traffic) as a link in a post in one of the forum categories?

I guess it depends on whether a member profile page has a better page rank vs the page rank that a forum topic post page may have?

I cant imagine profile pages having a better page rank?

Anybody ever compared the two approaches with Xrumer?

Hey thanks for the informative reply.

I notice an xrumer forum in your signature - is that a new forum? Looks great - what is the story behind its creation?

I only knew of the botmaster support one - are there any others?

Yeah, I know heaps of people who use profile linking almost exclusively on their sites, so yes, it's definitely helpful.

I didn't realise Xrumer could do all of this - I definitely need to look into it.
