Using xrumer on 2 home computers 24/7 I have 2 independant internet connections 1st 300mbit/s 2nd 500mbit/s. It runs ~1500links/min forum linkslist. Never got any complaints from my Both ISP within last year. I also do not have limits for traffic usage I can use as much as I want even 100TB month if I want xrumer use ~5-10TB month

what's your upload speed?

i'm thinking about getting a 100mbit connection, but it only got 2mbit upload (i know it sucks) you think 2mbit upload will be enough?

Mb = Mbit = Megabit = 10^6 bits
MB = Megabyte = 10^6 bytes
1 byte = 8 bits

When he says 300mbit he means his internet speed is 300 Mb/s

Upload speed is 150Mbit/s and for other connection same as download speed 500Mbit/s. But for xrumer upload speed not so important so maybe also 2Mbit/s will be enough

You'll require a competent system to spawn many threads. Sufficient memory, SMP/Multicore, preferrably dedicated for the task. But if you're going to push a few hundred links daily there's no problem using even a shitty laptop.

Ok, so it sounds like I can runn this off my PC with little to no issue. Thats cool to know.

Does it come with a comprehensive user/installation set of documentation? I was trying to use BLP and started running into issues, at which point the tech support "dropped the ball" and I haven't heard from them for days! Prior to that it sat there for weeks b/c they couldn't or wouldn't answer a simple question. I am just so damned tired of being at the mercy of some jackass half way around the planet!

Even the highest tarrif is still far to low in terms of links.

I would have to buy that 5x over, and it would still make less links per month than a home hosted Xrumer.

At $250 a month - You might as well save for 8 weeks and buy Xrumer yourself.

A very similar alternative to home spun Xrumer is..

Sick Submitter. It will do a "miniXrumer" it makes profiles, and some of the packets for $40 or $50 are really pretty darn good.
Sick costs under $20 a month and factor in 2 or 3 packets with your first purchase and you are off.

Good for backlining your second or third tier stuff. Like Xrumer, these links are best used to juice up your feeder sites not your main site though.

(I know some use Xrumer direct - but I think most don't)
